Gambia Embassy Concludes Record-Breaking Biometric Passport Mission in Spain and Italy

The Gambian Embassy in Madrid has successfully concluded its 4th Diaspora Overseas Biometric Passport Mission, describing the exercise as the most successful overseas passport enrollment operation ever conducted by the Gambia Immigration Department.
According to the Embassy, nearly 2,000 Gambians living in Spain and Italy were enrolled during the mission, providing much-needed passport services to citizens across the two European countries.
The Embassy praised the dedication and professionalism of the Immigration Team, noting that officers worked tirelessly from morning until late at night on several occasions to ensure that every applicant received attention.
The Embassy also commended Gambian community associations in Spain and Italy for their unwavering support and cooperation throughout the exercise, highlighting their important role in the smooth implementation of the mission.
On behalf of His Excellency Ambassador and the entire Embassy staff, appreciation was extended to the Gambia Immigration Team under the leadership of , as well as for their contribution to the success of the initiative.
The Embassy further thanked Gambians in Spain and Italy for their patience, cooperation, and support during the large-scale biometric passport registration exercise.
